Her journey wasn't too fast or too slow, it was depend upon what trains do best. This novel is the glory of train travel and witty look at the world. She packed her bags and started a unforgettable adventure that starts from London's st Pancras to the Russia, Mongolia, North Korea, Canada and beyond. She was on constant move by experience many events during her journey. Also they experienced some of the earths breath taking views.
They Traveled for 7 months and 45,000 miles by trains all over the world. They traveled back and forth across the world. The quality of also varied throughout their journey. On each of the journey they engage with their fellow passengers teasing out stories from those travelling with them sharing food and experiences and always hoping to make the connections to next train.
Reason behind travelling by train was that there is more opportunity to interact with people around you. The journey is not always fast, the main point of train is take the time to see new places.
Alot of time in the book we only have fleeting glimpses from the train windows of some of the countries pass through. She writes the conversation really well.

What we think about this novel

As i want to accept that i am a trvel lover. I like to travel and visit different places, but i don't prefer train for travelling rather i like to ride bike and even with car, i feel comfortable. Now comming back to the book, yes the scenes written in book about their travel in short their travel experience is amazing. It is pleasant to our mind(if you love to travel). You will feel like your sitting besides them and experiencing everything with your naked eyes.
As i was reading this book, i felt like i should start a new journey like Monisha Rajesh obviously in train again, and i think it will change my perspective about travelling with train.
I haven't read many books by Monisha Rajesh, infact Arround the world in 80 Trains is the first novel i read which is written by Monisha Rajesh. Yes I appreciate Monisha Rajesh's writting skills.
