Summary

The Titan's Curse is the 3rd book of the Percy Jackson and The Olympians. This book was published in April 2007 by Rick Riordan.
We have already seen in previous books that, Percy Jackson who is a half god and half human teams with his friends and helped Zeus in returning the Lightning Bolt.
In 2nd books Percy Jackson went on a Quest where he saved his friend who was kidnapped and saved the fellow campers. Rick Riordan introduced new Monsters and Gods in that book.
Now The Titan's Curse is the 3rd installment of the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series of books. This basically is a sequel of The Sea Monsters. In this book Percy Jackson and his friends tries to bring two more gods to camp.
Their journey is not going to be easy though, because a dangerous monster stands in their path named as a Manticore, who is a half human and half lion. But Percy Jackson gets help from Hunters of Artemis.
As the series of few events takes place due to which Annabeth goes missing along with the Manticore. Artemis decides to hunt for Manticore alone and ends with a chain of events.
On the other hand Titans who are Father and Mothers of the god becoming more powerful to bring back Kronos their god and also King of Titan's.
Now everything depends upon these Demigods. They must find and free Annabeth and Godess to stop titans before they bring back Kronos.

Overview

I read this book few years back. I loved this book and the whole series. The Titan's Curse has arround 312 pages in it. I finished this book in single seating and I enjoyed this book alot.
The way Rick Riordan shaped Percy Jackson's Character is way too much better. As like other books of Rick Riordan, this book also moves with a perfect pace.
Rick Riordan introduced Hunters of Artemis for the first time. They are a band of teen age girls whom are remain eternal in the service of godess Artemis. Rick presented these Artemis as a very strong character in the story. There are also few other characters those are brought back by Rick.
This is one of the best fiction and fantasy stories. Rick Riordan explained everything in details, which give readers a better experience and understanding.
In this book we can see many new Gods are interacting with Percy Jackson for the first time. This book also has a lot of action packed scenes along with those nail biting suspense moments.
Rick Riordan has introduced few new characters in this book. He did great work with the plot, as it has many ups and downs and twists and turns which are ready to amaze their readers.
The Titan's curse again is the best example of friendship, trust, love and sacrifice. Our gods are getting mature and older but they are also rising as a perfect ones.
As like his other books, The Titan's Curse is also a perfect blend of old Mythology and the Modern World. Rick Riordan perfectly balanced these two things throughout the plot.

Weak Points

I don't want to give you any spoiler, but their are few characters from this books those felt like annoying for me.

Strengths

The Titan's Curse or I should say whole series, Percy Jackson and The Olympians is perfect example of Friendship, Leadership, Sacrifices and many more.
The book is perfectly paced and also has those nail biting and exciting moments, so you won't get bored with this book.
He explained battle scenes like you are watching them right now and I can't explain this feeling in words.
Rick Riordan again showned his writing skills and imagination power. He has been succeeded in surprising readers.
