About Author

Kevin Missal who is just a twenty year old college graduate. He had his graduation from  St Stephen college. Dharmayoddha Kalki is his first novel from Kalki series. 

Kevin Missal wrote his first book at the very young age of 14 and the novel was released by the chief minister of delhi. He wrote his 2nd novel at the age of 16 and this novel was released by british indie press. He was the first in the world who wrote Instaread and it was the best seller horror category book on a huge platform of Amazon. Kevin Missal is also co-owner and co-founder of Kalamos literary services.

Narsimha: The Mahaavtar by Kevin Missal

Plot

As we know that this is the sequel of Narsimha: The Mahaavtar, the start of this book picks the events right were previously left off. Hiranyakashup obtained that Bramhastra by completing those three trials. He also comes to know that his wife was killed by Indra.

The Hiranyakashup tries to destroy Indras kingdom but, Pralhad who is the son of Hiranyakashup was the greatest devotee of  lord vishnu, opposes him to do so. By continuing the previous part of the series, Narsimha is on quest to find Pralhad. But his path is not going to be easy. He meets his old friend and an ancient poison which is threatening all. This will become the reason behind delaying to find Pralhad. There is nothing much to talk about the plot.

At the other side Holika who was the sister of Hiranyakashup tries to burn Pralhad in Fire but fails in the process and died by burning. What if Narsimha won't be able to find Pralhad in time? What if Hiranyakashup will succeed to defeat Indra? 

What we think about this novel

I am little disappointed that, this book is much smaller than i was expected. Kalki series was way more better than Narsimha series by Kevin Missal.

As you all know i have already reviewed few novels by Kevin Missal. This one is also a part of the trilogy. I think Kevin Missal loves to write Trilogies, i mean other few books by this young inspirational writer are also a part of trilogy.

The Hiranyakashup is a perfect sequel of Narsimha: The Mahaavtar by kevin missal. The book easily carries the links with the past. You have to read 1st book of the series to understand events in this one. The narrative of this book is also excellent. I think i dont need to tell about writing skills of Kevin Missal.

One more thing, this is not exact story about Narsimha we know from the years. The legend i heard says that, the Narsimha who was Avtar of lord Vishnu, appeared from a piller(by breaking that pillar from inside) and were killed Hiranyakashup. But in this series of book, Kevin Missal plotted Narsimha as a Human, who has a mission to find and save Bhakt Pralhad.

 

The story doesn't ends here, there is a 3rd part of the story. I will review that later.
